Festival highlights and Artist returns

The Block Party ‍festival is set to return in 2024 wiht a diverse lineup featuring several‍ notable acts. ⁢ Bloc Party will make its first North American festival appearance in over three years.⁣ The ⁤xx, who haven’t performed⁣ as 2018, are also slated to take the stage. Turnstile, fresh off receiving five ‍Grammy nominations in 2024, will co-headline a high-profile event for the first ⁣time in their career.

Venue Expansion⁢ and Local Integration

Local promoters S&S Presents are⁣ expanding the festival’s footprint within the‍ fairgrounds. This includes utilizing the‍ Days of ’47 arena as a smaller stage and reorienting existing stages to minimize sound bleed between performances. Beyond the main festival grounds,attendees can ⁢enjoy the Crusher Cup skateboarding⁣ competition,presented by Skullcandy. Evening shows featuring festival artists will also be ⁤held at local venues like Kilby Court, Urban Lounge, ‍and Metro Music Hall, further ⁤integrating the festival with the Salt Lake City‍ music scene.
