Help Find Mushie: A Missing French Bulldog in North Hollywood

A couple in Los Angeles is searching for their missing French bulldog, Mushie. The dog has been gone for two months, and the owners are offering a $5,000 reward for her return.

Mushie is a spayed black brindle French bulldog with a white chest and perky ears. She has no tail. She went missing on September 17 in North Hollywood, close to Victory Boulevard and Beck Avenue.

The couple had hired a sitter through Rover, who had cared for Mushie several times before. They received a call from the sitter just 14 minutes after leaving Mushie that night. The sitter reported she could not find the dog.

Worried for Mushie’s safety, the owners, Gabriella Sidhu and her partner, stayed close to where she disappeared. They spent the first night in their car and continued to sleep there for the next two weeks. They missed work during this time, using all their energy to search for Mushie.

Gabriella said, “We put up flyers, talked to people, and searched online for her. We are heartbroken but determined to find her.” After returning to work, they still continue to search each evening and weekend.

The couple has hung up hundreds of signs with Mushie’s photo in North Hollywood. They have checked local shelters, visited vets, and contacted pet stores. They even hired a search-and-rescue team with a bloodhound and consulted animal communicators. They have spent over $5,000 on these efforts and the reward for Mushie’s return.

Gabriella shared that they rescued Mushie from a bad situation with a breeder. Mushie has health issues and needs daily medication and special food.

There were a few sightings of Mushie near Whitnall Dog Park and Toluca Early Education Center initially, but these have stopped. Gabriella thinks someone might be keeping Mushie at home without knowing she has a loving family.

The couple is requesting anyone with information about Mushie’s whereabouts to reach out. They want the person who has her to come forward. “We just want our baby back,” Gabriella said.
