Los Angeles Rams Player Arrested for DUI
Demarcus Robinson, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, was arrested for suspected driving under the influence. The California Highway Patrol reported the incident.
Robinson was stopped early Monday morning in Woodland Hills, California. Officers observed his white Dodge sedan traveling over 100 mph on US-101 northbound. They noted signs of alcohol impairment and arrested him around 5:13 a.m.
He was cited and released to a responsible party. The arrest took place shortly after he caught a touchdown during the Rams’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on “Sunday Night Football.”
Robinson is in his eighth NFL season and second with the Rams. This season, he has recorded 26 catches for 384 yards and six touchdowns.
Rams head coach Sean McVay is set to speak to reporters on Tuesday morning.
