International Recognition for BIM Management System

Lotte Construction announced on the 30th that it has obtained ISO 19650-2:2018 certification,⁢ an international standard in the construction information modeling (BIM) field, from the Royal Standards⁣ Institute (BSI).

BIM is a technology that ‍embodies information about ⁢the entire construction process in a‍ three-dimensional (3D) model.

ISO 19650, the⁤ international standard for BIM, is divided into internal documents and project ‍execution results. Lotte Construction has obtained this ‍certification by passing objective verification and ⁣screening.

Global-Level BIM⁤ Management System

As a prime contractor, Lotte Construction is internationally recognized for its global-level BIM management system, BIM execution ability, standardized technology and quality, and the ability of specialized technical ⁤personnel throughout the entire construction project⁣ process.

Lotte Construction has formed a company-wide consultative organization ⁢centered around the ⁣Technology Research Institute, business headquarters, management​ and support departments, and is working to spread BIM throughout the company.

Expansion of Cloud ‌Systems and Collaboration with Autodesk

The introduction of cloud ⁣systems has recently been expanded to build and utilize construction information databases.

In February ⁤of this year, Lotte Construction entered into a ‍business agreement with Autodesk, a leading global BIM ⁣company, and is collaborating to discover‍ design automation AI technology ‍based ‍on‍ BIM data.
