In the episode of Here it all begins from Friday January 2, 2026 on TF1, Billie (Margaux Aguilar) feels guilty about letting go of ferdinand (Simon Dartois) on New Year’s Eve. Anaïs (Julie Sassoust) and Pénélope (Laurence Facelina) believe Ferdinand didn’t steal from her, but Billie disagrees. To rectify her mistake, she seeks out Ferdinand at the institute. She apologizes, explaining she received upsetting news, but Ferdinand is too hurt to listen. He reveals he declined spending the evening wiht Léonard (thomas Vilan), with whom he’s trying to build a connection, as of his involvement with her. He believes it’s best if they stop dating.
During a conversation with Gaspard (Maxym Anciaux) and Maya (Alexandra Favalli), Ferdinand learns that the trial of Romain Valdine (Luigi Kröner) is scheduled for the following Monday, and the outcome is uncertain. The entire gastronomy community supports Romain, which will be challenging for his victims. Ferdinand understands why Billie distanced herself and goes to find her in the marshes. Knowing about the trial, he understands her need to spend New year’s Eve with close friends. Billie acknowledges Ferdinand as a true friend and blames herself for her dishonesty. The two students agree to start their relationship anew on a positive note.

Olivia is impressed by the result and decides to abandon her initial resolution to…
Further Developments & Character Relationships
The episode sets the stage for several ongoing storylines. Ferdinand’s evolving relationship with Léonard remains a key focus, and his willingness to understand Billie’s viewpoint suggests a potential for future reconciliation, though likely not immediately. The trial of Romain Valdine will undoubtedly have notable repercussions for the entire cast, particularly those connected to the restaurant.
