Love Island Star Expecting Baby – Shock Reveal & Joke
Love Island Star Jonny Mitchell Finds new Purpose Helping bali’s Stray dogs
Former Love Island contestant Jonny Mitchell has revealed a profound shift in his life priorities since relocating to Bali, dedicating himself to improving the welfare of stray dogs on the Indonesian island.
Mitchell, who first gained fame on the popular ITV dating show in 2018, has spoken candidly about his unexpected passion for animal rescue, a cause that has become a significant part of his life in Bali.”But one of the biggest most unexpected changes I’ve seen in myself is my new overwhelming sense of duty towards helping dogs on this tiny little island,” Mitchell shared.”And how I feel like somehow one of my higher purposes in life is to make a difference by helping more dogs that need it.”
He continued, expressing his affection for his new home while acknowledging the challenges faced by its animal population.”I’ve fallen in love with Bali since I’ve been living out here but it doesn’t excuse some of the approaches they have in relation to animal rights and how they’re treated.”
Mitchell detailed the harsh realities for many stray dogs in Bali, explaining that while some manage to survive on the streets, many puppies struggle to find food. He also highlighted the plight of older or weaker dogs who often succumb to starvation or illness without any assistance.
“These problems aren’t huge compared to many of the world’s issues right now,” Mitchell reflected. “But it is indeed something that I feel that I can make a real impact on in my own way.”
His commitment to animal welfare has resonated with fans and fellow public figures. Love Island co-star Adam Collard, also a new father, was among those who sent their congratulations, writing: “Congrats mate!”
