Artist Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi Renews Feud with‌ Producer Sarah⁢ Al-Tabakh

Artist Mohamed ‌Al-Sharnoubi has reignited the heated legal dispute between him and producer Sarah Al-Tabakh, drawing parallels with the ongoing feud between singer Sherin Abdel‍ Wahab and Rotana Company.

In a video⁤ clip posted on his Instagram page, Al-Sharnoubi stated, “I worked with Sarah Al-Tabakh for 5 years, facing numerous problems, until three ⁣judgments were⁤ issued. ‍The contract period with her has ended, and ‍I have no obligations to her.”

He continued, “The current issue is that songs are still available on⁤ music platforms, but there’s a loophole on YouTube that we’re struggling to address, as it’s intended to protect‌ people’s ‌rights.”

Al-Sharnoubi added, “This loophole was⁣ first exploited in a song called ‘My Heart Is Comfortable.’ I downloaded it, and when I⁤ won the case again, I deleted all the songs. However, they were re-uploaded, ‌and the last incident involved the songs ‘Isgatnina’ and ‘Wachlat’ on YouTube.”

The Conflict’s History

The feud between Al-Sharnoubi and Sarah Al-Tabakh has undergone many phases over‍ the years. Here‌ are the most notable developments:

Love and Revenge

On June 13, 2019, Sarah Al-Tabakh announced her engagement to Mohamed El Sharnoubi, but the singer called off the engagement on July 21, citing contract violations by her company, ⁤”Earth Productions.”

Sarah Al-Tabakh responded by declaring war on Al-Sharnoubi, issuing warnings to production companies against collaborating with him. The conflict escalated to the Syndicate of Musical⁤ Professions and the courts.

Yam in the Bag

Over the years, ‍Sarah Al-Tabakh and her lawyer have issued numerous warnings and government⁢ reports‌ to prevent Al-Sharnoubi from⁤ participating in various projects, including the plays “Experience Team” and “Yama‌ in the Jar.” They also requested the cancellation of ⁤a concert by the artist as ‍part of the ⁤Arab Music Festival.

Final Verdict

On September 14, 2023, ⁣the ⁣Cairo Economic Court issued a ruling ⁢rejecting⁢ the lawsuit filed by Sarah Al-Tabakh against Mohamed El Sharnoubi. The contract between the ⁢producer and her ⁣company (Earth Productions) expired⁤ on September 1, 2017, and she was not entitled‌ to any rights held by the singer.

Al-Sharnoubi’s lawyer, Hussein⁣ Hilal, stated, “This⁣ judgment was issued in case No. 382 of the 15th ⁣financial year of Cairo, and it is a final ⁢judgment because⁤ it was issued by an ‍appeals chamber.”

Hilal continued, “This ruling⁤ is the second⁢ in the same matter, as the South Giza Court of Appeal from ⁤the 6th Civil Circuit previously issued its final ruling, ending the contract dated September 1, 2017, with producer Sarah Al-Tabakh’s agency, and her handling of the works of artist Mohamed El-Sharnoubi.”

Theft and Imprisonment in Absentia

The September 2023 ruling came after courts and police departments reviewed cases and exchanged reports between Sarah Al-Tabakh and Mohamed Al-Sharnoubi. A preliminary prison sentence was issued in ⁢absentia against the producer on charges of embezzlement, and she filed an official report accusing ⁤Al-Sharnoubi of stealing a “scooter.”

A New Chapter

In January 2024, Mohamed El Sharnoubi announced that he had‌ signed a contract with producer Mohamed Gaber to⁣ release his work, starting with a song titled “I Was Myself.”
