A shooting in Manhattan’s Lower East Side on Tuesday,September 16,2024,left two people injured,raising concerns about public safety in teh neighborhood. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the vicinity of East broadway and Clinton Street, according to police reports.

A 63-year-old woman was struck in the foot by gunfire while walking on the sidewalk.
