Pakistan Announces LPG Price Cut for June

Consumers in Pakistan will see a decrease in LPG prices this month.The oil and Gas regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction of Rs4.62 per kilogram in the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG), effective in June. This translates to a 1.88% decrease.
The new price for an 11.8kg LPG cylinder will be Rs2,838.31,a drop from Rs2,892.91 in May. this makes the cylinder cheaper by Rs54.6.
OGRA stated that the LPG producer price is linked to Saudi Aramco-CP and the US dollar exchange rate. While the Saudi Aramco CP decreased by 2.67%, the average dollar exchange rate saw a slight increase of 0.35%. The combined effect resulted in the reduced consumer price.
