LPL Financial Welcomes West Texas Investments

LPL Financial has added West Texas Investments, an advisory team based in Lubbock, Texas, to its platform. The team,which includes Stephanie Stewart,Debra Hedgcoth,and Madison Wentland,previously oversaw approximately $170 million in assets at B. Riley Wealth Advisors.
West Texas Investments,a women-led team,was founded in 2012 by Stewart and the late David Barber.Hedgcoth joined in 2018, bringing 25 years of IRS experience, and Wentland joined in 2019. The team emphasizes a client-first approach to financial planning.
Wentland said that moving to LPL Financial will help them achieve their goals, citing LPL’s technology and back-office support as crucial factors in their decision to transition to the broker-dealer, RIA, and custodial platforms.
“I was taught that you design your own life, and part of that means working towards a future that aligns with your values and aspirations. Moving our business to LPL will help us achieve that goal.”
