LPL Financial⁣ has added West Texas Investments, an advisory ‌team based in Lubbock, Texas, to its platform. The team,which includes ​Stephanie Stewart,Debra Hedgcoth,and Madison Wentland,previously oversaw approximately ‌$170‌ million in assets at B. Riley Wealth Advisors.

West Texas Investments,a women-led team,was⁤ founded in 2012 by Stewart and the late David Barber.Hedgcoth joined in 2018, bringing 25 years of IRS ⁣experience, and Wentland⁣ joined in 2019. The team emphasizes ‌a client-first approach to financial ⁣planning.

Wentland said that moving to LPL Financial will help them⁣ achieve their‌ goals, citing​ LPL’s technology and back-office support as ‍crucial factors in their decision to ‌transition to the broker-dealer, RIA, and custodial platforms.
