LSU Swimming and Diving Teams Ranked in Top 25
The LSU men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are ranked in the latest Division I Top 25 dual meet poll issued by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The LSU women hold the No. 14 position, while the LSU men are at No. 22. Recently, both teams competed in a tri-meet against Florida State and Alabama. The LSU teams achieved victories over FSU but lost to Alabama. Earlier in the season, LSU secured three dual meet wins against Navy, Loyola (Md.), and George Mason.
The top 25 teams are determined by a committee of Division I coaches. They evaluate head-to-head meet results, recent performances, overall season records, and changes in team rosters, such as injuries. The aim is not to predict championship outcomes.
The LSU teams will compete next at the Georgia Invitational in Athens, Ga., from November 20 to November 22. Prelims start daily at 8:30 a.m. CT, with finals at 4:00 p.m. CT.
