Luana Savings Bank Announces New Leadership
Luana Savings Bank has appointed Shane Greenleaf as its new Chief Executive Officer and Sarah Schultz Freilinger as President, the financial institution’s board announced today, .
Greenleaf, a native of Sioux City, joined Luana Savings Bank in 2024 as Executive Vice President and a member of its board of directors. He brings over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services to the role. His office will be located at the bank’s Clive branch.
Freilinger, who began her tenure at Luana Savings Bank in 2013, has been instrumental in leading and contributing to various areas of the bank, including administration, human resources, marketing, and community involvement. She represents a third generation of family ownership within the bank. Freilinger’s primary workspace will be at the bank’s headquarters in Luana, Iowa.
Founded in 1908, Luana Savings Bank currently operates six locations across Iowa and employs 100 individuals.
