Luc Residents Gear Up for Another Year of Festive Fun
Luc,France - The spirit of community was alive and well in Luc as residents gathered for the annual general assembly of the town‘s animation commitee. Mayor Jean-Philippe Sadoul, along with council members Benjamin Maymard and Dominique Barbier de Reulle, joined the group of dedicated volunteers too celebrate a prosperous year of events and look ahead to an exciting 2025.
The committee reflected on a packed 2024 calendar, which included a lively tea dance featuring François Xavier, a concert by “En Passant,” a former band of Jean-Jacques Goldman, and a captivating show for children from Luc’s four schools. The annual July festivities, though dampened by inclement weather, still managed to bring joy with a semi-nocturnal walk, a fishing competition for kids at Lac de la Brienne, a barbecue with DJ Olive and the band “Cres’cendo,” a dazzling fireworks display, a bustling flea market, a pétanque tournament, and a delightful treat for the children.
Beyond their own events, committee members actively participated in celebrations organized by other local associations, including the hunters’ feast, the christmas market, the conscripts’ festival, the “Croulants” event, and the Telethon.
A positive financial balance allowed the committee to invest in essential equipment for future festivities, ensuring even more memorable experiences for Luc residents.
