Luis Enrique caresses the long -awaited PSG Champions and a triplet with which he would match Guardiola
PSG Aims for First Champions League Title Against Inter Milan
Updated May 31, 2025
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will compete for its first Champions League trophy against Inter Milan this Saturday.
Despite important investment, the coveted title has eluded the club, owned by Nasser al-Khelaïfi. Inter Milan,
led by Simone Inzaghi, reached the final after defeating Barcelona in the semifinal.
PSG reached the Champions League final unexpectedly, without stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar Junior, and Kylian
Mbappé. Mbappé joined Real Madrid last summer. The team is now built around coach Luis Enrique, who aims to win a
triplet, emulating Pep Guardiola.
Fitting the PSG Puzzle Pieces
PSG’s journey to its second Champions League final was challenging. Luis Enrique had to fit the pieces of his team
without Mbappé, which initially put the team in a challenging position. At one point, they were near the bottom of
the league table, raising doubts about their continued participation in the competition.
What’s next
The Champions League final promises an exciting match between PSG and Inter Milan. Football fans worldwide eagerly
anticipate the outcome as PSG seeks its first title and Luis Enrique aims to make history.
