Lynn Vision Changes Roster After Major Qualification Miss
Lynn Vision, a Chinese esports organization, has announced a roster change. Peiqi “flying” Song is benched just six months after joining the active lineup. The decision follows the team’s recent failure to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
The team ended the Asia RMR in fourth place. They lost their opening match to DRILLAS but secured wins against Alter Ego and TALON in the lower bracket. Unfortunately, they lost to FlyQuest in the qualifying match, missing a chance to play at the Major in their home country.
Flying joined Lynn Vision in June 2023 after a successful trial. He averaged a rating of 0.96 over 59 maps, including 1.07 over eight maps at the RMR. He helped the team qualify for ESL Pro League Season 20 after winning ESL Challenger League Season 47 APAC.
Currently, Lynn Vision’s roster includes:
- Zhe “Westmelon” Niu
- Sike “z4kr” Zhang
- Junjie “EmiliaQAQ” Tang
- Jianye “afufu” Wang
- Yifei “GUM” Dai (Coach)
- Peiqi “flying” Song (Benched)
As Lynn Vision reassesses its lineup for the future, flying remains sidelined once again.
