The No. 12/7 Stanford Cardinal women’s lacrosse team defeated the Elon Phoenix 19-6 on April 12, 2026, in Elon, North Carolina. The victory concluded Stanford’s final regular season road trip and their nonconference schedule.
Stanford entered the contest seeking to recover from a loss to No. 2 UNC on April 10, 2026. The Cardinal established an early lead, scoring three goals within the first five minutes of the game. Aliya Polisky recorded two of those goals, while Lindsey Devir added one.
Following an initial response from Elon, Stanford executed a four-goal run to extend their lead to 7-1. This sequence began with Annabel Frist scoring her 144th career goal, followed by a behind-the-back finish from Peep Williams, who was assisted by Devir. Ava Arceri and Martha Oakey also scored during this stretch.

Aliya Polisky led the Cardinal offense with five goals. Peep Williams contributed six points, including a career-high four assists. Jordyn Case also recorded a career-high four assists. The Stanford defense limited Elon to their second-lowest goal total of the season. The Cardinal defense maintained a shutout for the first 23:08 of the second half before Mackenzie Coleman scored. Defensively, five Stanford players recorded caused turnovers. In goal, Shae Lembo earned a career-high two saves, and Ella Morton secured her third win of the season.
