Macquarie Launches First U.S. Collateralized Loan Obligation

Macquarie Asset Management has entered the U.S. Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) market with the pricing of Market Street CLO Ltd. 1. The $10 billion leveraged credit platform will focus on investing in a diverse range of broadly syndicated loans, marking a meaningful expansion for the firm.
The Market Street 1 deal, part of Macquarie’s $200 billion credit platform, features a senior AAA tranche priced at S+160 basis points. The platform spans high yield, bank loans, and CLO debt for both institutional and wealth clients. The CLO includes a two-year non-call period,a five-year reinvestment window,and a final maturity in July 2038.
The transaction closed May 29, 2025, with the first payment scheduled for Oct. 20, 2025. Jefferies acted as the sole arranger for the deal.
