Madonna is offering a reward for the return of vintage clothing items that went missing after her surprise performance with Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella 2026.
The pop icon took the stage during Carpenter’s headlining set on Friday, April 17, 2026, wearing pieces pulled from her personal archive, including a light purple corset, a darker purple jacket, and other garments from that era. Three days later, on Monday, April 20, Madonna shared on her Instagram Story that the outfit was nowhere to be found.
“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing,” Madonna wrote in her statement. “My costume that was pulled from my personal archives — jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history.”
She confirmed that other archival items from the same time period have also disappeared and appealed to the public for help, providing an email address for tips: Infomaverick2026@gmail.com.
Madonna emphasized the sentimental value of the missing items, stating they are not merely costumes but pieces of her personal history. She announced she is offering a reward for their safe return, saying, “I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items,” and added, “Thank you with all My Heart.”
The surprise collaboration between Madonna and Carpenter was one of the most talked-about moments of Coachella 2026, featuring performances of songs such as “Vogue,” “Like a Prayer,” and Madonna’s “Bring Your Love” from her upcoming Confessions II album.
As of Monday, April 20, 2026, the whereabouts of the missing garments remain unknown, and Madonna’s team continues to await any information that could lead to their recovery.
