Paris St Germain achieved Champions League glory, securing their first title with a commanding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in Munich. The Champions League final saw PSG dominate from the outset, showcasing their youth and skill against a more experienced Inter side.
Achraf Hakimi and desire Doue scored within the first 20 minutes, establishing PSG’s early lead. Doue, just days away from his 20th birthday, became the third teenager to score in a champions League final. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a third, and substitute Senny Mayulu sealed the victory with a fifth goal, marking the largest margin of victory in a Champions League final.
Inter Milan, despite eliminating Bayern Munich and Barcelona en route to the final, could not match PSG’s intensity. PSG completed a treble, having already won the league and cup in France. This Champions League win marks a notable milestone for the club.
Luis Enrique, who previously won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015,joins an elite group as the seventh manager to win the trophy with two different clubs. The match highlighted the contrast between Inter’s experience and PSG’s youthful energy.

From the start, PSG’s attack proved too much for Inter.Doue and Dembele threatened early before Hakimi’s opening goal in the 12th minute. Doue’s pass set up Hakimi to score against his former club. Inter struggled to contain PSG’s dynamic play, with costly deflections and missed opportunities.
Inter had chances from corners, but PSG continued to create danger. Sommer,Inter’s goalkeeper, managed to save some attempts, but PSG’s pressure was relentless. Kvaratskhelia had opportunities either side of half-time but failed to convert.
PSG sealed their victory with a third goal, showcasing their skill. Dembele’s back heel released Vitinha, whose pass found Doue, who scored from inside the area. The combination of Bradley Barcola and Mayulu further emphasized PSG’s dominance.
