Skowhegan, Maine – Redington-Fairview General Hospital has appointed Tiffany Comis, MSN, RN, as its new Chief Executive officer, marking a meaningful transition for the central Maine healthcare provider. The declaration,made December 19th via the hospital’s Facebook page, signals a continuation of the hospital’s commitment to community-focused care.
Comis is not an outsider to Redington-Fairview.Her career with the hospital spans over two decades, demonstrating a deep understanding of its operations and the needs of the surrounding community. She has steadily risen thru the ranks, gaining experience as an emergency department nurse manager, director of ambulatory services, chief nursing officer, and most recently, as the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer.
She succeeds Richard Willett, whose remarkable 51-year tenure with Redington-Fairview concluded with this transition.Willett began his career at the hospital in September 1972 as director of pharmacy and assumed the role of CEO in October 1991, leading the institution for over three decades.
