Disney+ has officially ordered a revival of the beloved sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle,” bringing back the chaotic and hilarious family for a brand-new adventure.
Get ready for a trip down memory lane! The iconic series, which originally aired on Fox from 2000 to 2006, will return with four new episodes, reuniting the original cast, including Frankie Muniz as malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois.
The revival, spearheaded by original creator Linwood Boomer, picks up with Malcolm’s daughter being drawn into the family’s trademark chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.

The revival is produced by 20th Television and New Regency, with Boomer returning as writer and executive producer. Ken Kwapis will direct all four episodes.
The news of the “Malcolm in the Middle” revival comes on the heels of announcements for reboots of other beloved early 2000s shows, including “Scrubs” at ABC and “prison break” at Hulu, signaling a wave of nostalgia sweeping thru television.
