Video Information
Beibeng Township Primary School was built in 1976. It is the only national defense education normal school in Medog County, Tibet. At the beginning of the school, there was only one teacher. In order to improve the conditions for running schools, officers and soldiers stationed in Tibet have participated in teaching as non-staff teachers since the 1990s. Today, among the students taught by Teacher Bing, nearly 2,000 students have been admitted to junior high school, and more than 200 have been admitted to university, becoming the new force in guarding the border and enriching the people. One batch after another of Medog officers and soldiers gave their love to the children in these mountains, and the children also deeply loved their “Mamigengla” (Menba language: Teacher Bing).
