Man Attacks Colleague With Weapon After Pet Mockery

A workplace assault in South Korea has resulted in legal proceedings after a dispute involving the mockery of a pet escalated into a violent confrontation.

According to reporting by Seoul Shinmun, the incident was triggered when an employee ridiculed a colleague’s pet, comparing the animal to a silkie chicken.

The assailant reportedly responded to the insult by threatening the coworker, stating I’ll fry you, before attacking the individual with a weapon.

The attack caused injuries to the victim, leading to a court judgment against the assailant for the assault.
