Manchester City is reportedly targeting Newcastle United’s right-back, Tino Livramento, while a host of European giants, including Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, are monitoring Aston Villa’s attacking midfielder, Morgan Rogers.
According to sources, Manchester City views Livramento, 23, as a long-term solution on the right side of their defense. Pep Guardiola’s side has been tracking the player for “several months,” particularly as they’ve utilized versatile midfielder Matheus Nunes in that position this season. However, Newcastle remains hopeful of securing Livramento to a new contract at St. James’ Park, though the player has yet to indicate a willingness to commit to an extension.
The interest in Rogers, 23, is even more widespread. PSG has reportedly been monitoring the Englishman’s situation throughout the current season, and Liverpool has now joined the fray, alongside Manchester United and Arsenal. Rogers is currently under contract at Villa Park until 2031, meaning any potential suitor would need to meet a significant transfer fee to pry him away from Aston Villa.
