Police responded to a 911 call and found the victim, believed to be between 35 and 40 years old, on the tracks. According to authorities, the man was walking on the roadbed of the tracks as the train entered the station. Despite the train operator’s efforts, the train was unable to stop in time, resulting in the fatal collision.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
