by David Thompson - Sports Editor

Manchester United ‘Open Door’ for Højlund Loan as Milan Circle for Striker Deal

Manchester United appear willing to let Rasmus Højlund leave on loan with an option to buy, opening the door for a potential move to AC Milan, who are also eyeing Dusan Vlahovic as a striking reinforcement. The news comes as United continue to assess their attacking options, adn Milan search for a solution to bolster their own forward line.

United Consider Loan Exit for Højlund

according to italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United have indicated they are open to allowing Højlund to depart on loan with an option for Milan to make the move permanent. This shift in stance comes as the Red Devils weigh their attacking options and potentially free up funds for other targets.

While a permanent deal was initially considered too expensive, the loan with option structure presents a more palatable solution for both clubs. However, the move is contingent on Højlund’s approval.

Milan Lead the Race,But Vlahovic Remains an Option

AC Milan have been actively searching for a new striker, and Højlund has emerged as a key target. Di Marzio reports that, given the terms of the proposed loan deal, Milan are currently in “pole position” to secure his signature.

However, Milan aren’t putting all their eggs in one basket. They are also still considering a move for Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, suggesting they are keeping their options open.

Ferdinand Highlights Key Difference Between Højlund and sesko

the potential departure of Højlund comes as Manchester United are also linked with other striking targets, including Benjamin Šeško. United legend Rio Ferdinand recently weighed in on the comparison between Højlund and Šeško, highlighting a crucial difference.

Ferdinand believes the dynamic surrounding the two players would be considerably different. He explained that Højlund arrived at United with less experienced players around him – Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo – while Šeško would be supported by established Premier League players and Bruno Fernandes.

“The only difference is that Rasmus came in and had inexperience around him… most of the time,” Ferdinand saeid. “If Sesko comes in, he’s got two players that have played Premier League, scored goals in the Premier League and backed up by Bruno so I think it’s a different dynamic that he comes into.”

Despite this, Ferdinand expressed some concern about Šeško’s potential adaptation to the Premier League. “But the uncertainty worries me a little bit. Can he adapt to this league?”
