Magan’s cancer Diagnosis and Perspective
Magan was initially diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023. He recently discussed his experience with the illness on RTÉ Radio 1 with Brendan O’Connor.
During the interview,Magan reflected on the uncertainty of his prognosis, stating,”It’s a lovely thing to know that I can plan my last few,is it months,or years? We don’t know. We might get a year or two, and definitely get another few months.”
Connection to Spirituality
Magan also shared his lifelong connection to the spirit world during his conversation with O’Connor. He recalled his childhood, where his parents recognized his imaginative nature and provided him with a dedicated space in the garden to explore his interests in herbs and flowers.
He described hearing “loving voices” and feeling like a “white light” with a purpose, stating, “I would just be hearing the spirit world, I would just be communicating with them…I am like, this white light. This loving source of white light and I’m here to play.”
