After the announcement of the sudden death of former Moroccan international player Abdelaziz Berrada at the age of 35 due to a heart attack, the Moroccan sports world has been in mourning since Thursday.

In 2013, the player moved to Emirati club Al Jazira, for whom he played one season, then joined French club Marseille on a contract lasting four seasons.

He later joined the ranks of Emirati club Al-Nasr and then had separate stints in Turkey and Qatar until announcing his international retirement in 2021.

As for the player’s career in the ranks of the Moroccan national team, it began in February 2012, when he appeared for the first time in a “Lions” shirt in a friendly match against Burkina Faso, and later he had a remarkable performance.
