“I walked my dog: it took me a long time! I learned to make the fish in the oven (laughter) … No: Marcel stopped in 2012. For twenty years, we had been 200 days a year on the roads and I think that in 2010-2011, there was a big blow of fatigue. … We didn’t understand each other well: rather than getting angry, we separated. And then five years later, we realized that we were missing. We hadn’t lost sight of each other, but we started to meet again for music. And we’ve been tasteful, simply. Afterwards, we no longer wanted to be on the roads as we did. We said to ourselves: if we redo concerts, we go at our own pace. We have other projects next to it. We enjoyed finding a repertoire, rearranging it, and then after a while, we were also bored, with this repertoire that we knew too much. I had texts, I started to bring melodies. We worked, we took a lot of fun. And that’s it, that’s how it came.”
