Beloved Teacher and Mother, Margaret Duggan, Passes Away in Galway

Margaret Duggan, a respected teacher and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on , at Galway University Hospital, following a long illness. She was surrounded by her family, a testament to the love and connection that defined her life.

Born to Denis and Maureen Cunniffe (Liswilliam, Dysart, Co Roscommon), Margaret is remembered as a woman of dignity and courage, qualities she demonstrated throughout her recent health challenges.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as a mother to Sinéad, Fiona, Ruth, Sarah, and Seán, and as a cherished wife to her husband, Padraig. Her loss is deeply felt by her sisters, Denise, Joanne, Fiona, and Maura, as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and mother-in-law, Ann Lohan. She is also survived by her aunts, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family, colleagues, neighbours, and friends.
