She passed away peacefully at her home in Meagher Avenue, Prospect, on February 22, 2025. Her life, marked by love, kindness, and community involvement, will be celebrated and mourned by those who knew her best.
Born and raised in a close-knit community, Margaret was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her neighbors. She was beloved by many, including her husband Patrick, the late, her children Valerie and Paul, her beloved grandchildren: Killian, Mona, and Alfie, her sister Jean and brothers Pat, Tony, Joe, and Johnny, as well as her cherished nephews, nieces, and extended family.

As a mother, she has supported her kids in giving them independence, by simply “made sure that they had the space and the freedom to contribute to our world on their terms.”
Old Margaret was in her company’s hearts with the missing voice of calm reassurance. She is humbly grieving for her beloved family personally and the whole community. A Community Celebrates Margaret’s Life
On the family home in Meagher Avenue was taking a place for repose of Margaret on Tuesday, February 25th, to allow neighbours and friends to take a gratitude to say our unified hearts are gonna missing her smile smiling film in our minds and souls with a good feeling,, in the afternoon from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. After the repose prayers, there will be removal to St. Joseph’s Church on O’Connell Avenue.
The Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, at 11:30 AM, followed by her internment afterwards at Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.
