MORELOS, Mexico – Morelos is promoting its cultural, gastronomic, and natural attractions to international buyers at the Mexico 2025 Tourist Tianguis.
Official Inauguration of the Morelos Stand
Gov. Margarita gonzález Saravia, along with Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, inaugurated the Morelos stand. Other officials present included Javier García Chávez, head of the Gubernatura office; Daniel Altafi Valladares, Secretary of State Tourism; and the mayors of Xochitepec and Tepoztlán, Roberto Gonzalo Flores Zúñiga and Perso Quiroz Rendón, respectively. Deputy Guillermina Maya Rendón also attended.
An Immersive Experience of Morelos
The Morelos stand offers visitors an immersive experience, highlighting the state’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and tourism offerings.Attendees can sample local delicacies such as cecina,rice,and Chilacayote water. Virtual tours of magical towns and archaeological sites are also available.
Strategic Alignment and Vision
González Saravia emphasized that this initiative aligns with the strategy to establish Morelos as a competitive, innovative, and sustainable destination. the goal is to consolidate “the land that unites us” as a leading tourism hub.
“This stand projects ‘the land that unites us’ as a reference in cultural tourism, well-being, romance and nature, strengthening our presence in national and international markets,” González Saravia said.
Economic Benefits and Strategic Alliances
The governor also noted that the Tianguis provides an international platform for establishing strategic alliances, opening new markets, and generating economic benefits for communities in Morelos.This aligns with a vision of social and regional progress focused on collective well-being.

A delegation of 50 exhibitors from morelos is present at the Tianguis, including hoteliers, tour operators, artisans, and customary cooks. Thay showcase the diversity and quality of tourism products and services available in the state.
