Kenny’s daughter, Laya, read one of her father’s poems. His friend, John Creedon, delivered a heartfelt eulogy. He praised Kenny as a talented poet, actor, musician, and comedian, emphasizing his compassion and kindness.

Creedon recalled how children adored Kenny. He brought laughter even at bedtime with humorous threats to lure them to sleep. He highlighted Kenny’s sensitivity and how he turned personal and community struggles into beloved characters.

During the service, Kenny was remembered for his roles in comedy and film, including appearances in Father Ted and Angela’s Ashes. He also had a love for music, and items symbolizing his passions were displayed, including a guitar and rugby flags.

Kenny passed away after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Margy, and children Aran and Laya, who were by his side at the end. His legacy includes the laughter and love he shared with family, friends, and the community.
