The European Cross Country championship took place this Sunday in Lagoa, Portugal, with Mariano García of Cuevas de Reyllo participating as part of the Spanish mixed relay team. The team, comprised of García, Mohamed Attaoui, Esther Guerrero, and Marta Mitjans, covered a total distance of 5.96km.

The Spanish team ultimately secured 7th place with a time of 17:34, with Mariano García running the second leg of the relay.
