Puebla Prosecutor Reports Arrest of Marilyn Cote

Allegations Against Marilyn Cote
Social media users reported Cote for claiming to be a doctor in Neurosciences and an expert in Neuropsychology. Using these false credentials, she provided consultations and prescribed medication for several years.
Official records show that Cote only holds a degree in Law and a master’s in Criminalistics. These qualifications do not allow her to prescribe controlled medications.
Cote claimed on her website and social media that she had multiple worldwide recognitions. She also stated that she worked for the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia, for five years.
In her promotions, she asserted that she could treat depression and anxiety within a week. Additionally, she presented herself as an expert in martial arts.
