Francesco Bagnaia finds himself not onyl overshadowed by his teammate, Marc Marquez, but also struggling to outperform Alex marquez, who pilots a desmosedici GP24 for the Gresini Ducati team. This internal dynamic is a key focus for Ducati as the 2025 season reaches it’s halfway point. With the season precisely at its midpoint at Sachsenring, Ducati is intensifying its efforts to elevate Bagnaia’s competitiveness for the remaining 11 races. The team’s resolve is evident, especially with the next round arriving swiftly this weekend.
“I am sure we will make a step forward in Brno, that’s the big hope,” Domenicali expressed. “When the front tires start to heat up, pecco routinely has difficulty; we haven’t found the reason, but, once again I emphasize, in Brno there is new asphalt, and it will boost the performance of ‘Pecco’. Then we will see how things progress.”
Domenicali further elaborated on the team’s commitment: “Gigi (Dall’Igna, Ducati Corse manager) and the others continue to do this; we have the obligation to make Pecco can again win. The trust of the team against it and what we show is vital to step forward in overcoming the same problem in the previous 11 series.”
The 12th round of the 2025 MotoGP season is scheduled to take place at the Brno Circuit in the Czech Republic this weekend. The Czech Grand prix marks a welcome return to the racing calendar, having last hosted a MotoGP event in 2020.
