Marseille Secures 2-1 Victory Over Nantes in French Premier League

Marseille emerged victorious in their match against Nantes, securing a 2-1 win in the 10th round of the French Premier League.

Neil Maupe opened the scoring for Marseille in the 24th minute of the first half, firing a shot from the left that found its way into the net.

Tino Kadever equalized for Nantes in the 39th minute, scoring from inside the penalty area.

Mason Greenwood sealed the win for Marseille, scoring the second goal in the 61st minute.

With this win, Marseille extended their tally to 20 points, solidifying their second-place position, six points behind league leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

Nantes, on the other hand, remains in 14th place with 10 points.

The match saw Egyptian international Mustafa Mohamed lead the team’s attack, making a strong appearance in the starting lineup.
