Marvels of Saudi Orchestra Concludes in Tokyo

On November 27, 2024, the ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ showcased a stunning performance at Tokyo Opera City. Organized by the Saudi Music Commission, the event received support from His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Culture.

The concert featured the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir, performing alongside Japan’s Gagaku Orchestra and the Tokyo College of Music Orchestra Academy. Notably, the legendary Japanese guitarist HOTEI made a special appearance, enchanting the audience with his performance.

Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Saudi Music Commission, expressed the event’s importance. He stated, “The ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ was an extraordinary celebration of musical talent and creativity. This performance highlighted the collaboration between the Saudi National Orchestra and our esteemed Japanese partners. It was a memorable experience and showcased music’s transformative power.”
