A Peaceful Farewell
Mary passed away peacefully at her home on October 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth, her brother John, and her granddaughter Emma.
She is deeply mourned by her husband of 63 years, Tom, her sons John and Mike, her daughter Rose, sons-in-law Desmond and Mike, daughters-in-law Mary, and her grandchildren Leanna, Ella, Rachel (and partner Chris), Liz, and Sandra (and partner Christian).Mary is also survived by her great-grandchildren Zack, Alfie, Kayleigh, Mia Rose, and Tyler, her brother-in-law James, and her best friend and cousin, Betty Breen, as well as numerous other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will be held at Riedy’s Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The funeral mass will take place at Monagea Church on Friday morning at 11:30 AM, followed by burial in Monagea Cemetery.
the family requests that thier home be kept private at this time.
Gratitude and Donations
Mary’s family extends their sincere gratitude to Tralee General Hospital, the Newcastle West Care team, the Milford Hospice care team, nurse Trace, social worker Deirdre, Doctor Michelle O’Connor of the Quay Clinic, Father Cannon Duhig, and Father O’ Dea for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Milford Care Centre.
