As Typhoon No. 10 approaches, leisure facilities and events in the Tokai region are also being affected.
In professional baseball, the three-game series between Chunichi and DeNA scheduled to start on the 30th at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya has been canceled. This is the first time that all three games have been canceled due to a typhoon at the dome.
Among the leisure facilities, Nagashima Spa Land and Nabana no Sato in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture have been temporarily closed until September 1st.
Suzuka Circuit Park in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture has decided to close temporarily on the 31st.

Legoland Japan in Nagoya’s Minato Ward, Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Chikusa Ward, Japan Monkey Park in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, and Shima Spain Village in Shima City, Mie Prefecture may cease operations depending on the typhoon’s future path.
Ghibli Park in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture is open as usual, however, for reservations made up until September 1st, you will be able to enter the park even after your reserved time, and you can also change your reservation date to a later date.

Events were also affected. The concert by Masaharu Fukuyama, scheduled to take place at Port Messe Nagoya, was cancelled.

Nagoya City has announced that if a storm warning or special warning is issued at 6 a.m. on the day of the event, morning classes will be canceled at municipal schools. If the warning is not lifted by 11 a.m., classes will be canceled for the entire day.
