Mastercard Launches Small Business Navigator Program
Mastercard has unveiled its Small Business Navigator, a new initiative providing digital tools, data, and educational resources to small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across the united States. The program aims to deliver actionable support to business owners, according to Ginger Siegel, head of small business at Mastercard.
The Small Business Navigator offers a range of features, including an AI-powered chatbot designed to act as a mentor, insights from the Mastercard Economic Institute and SpendingPulse report, and educational content covering cybersecurity, marketing, and digital tools. This initiative underscores Mastercard’s commitment to providing solutions that extend beyond payments, supporting small businesses throughout their growth journey.
To bolster cybersecurity, the program provides access to My Cyber Risk powered by RiskReCon, offering guidance and personalized recommendations based on a Cybersecurity Assessment Quiz. Additionally, small businesses can access financial planning and cost management support through We2credit’s Virtual CFO services and gain the opportunity to be featured on Mastercard’s social media channels.
“With Small Business Navigator, we’re delivering a powerful combination of insights, protection and financial tools that help business owners build toward long-term success,” Siegel said.
This launch follows other recent mastercard initiatives aimed at supporting small businesses. In February, the company introduced credit and debit cards tailored for creators and small business owners, featuring benefits like Easy Savings and ID theft Protection. In November, Mastercard began rolling out immersive shopping experiences across North America and launched Mastercard Biz360, a platform designed to help businesses consolidate their digital tools.
What’s next
Mastercard plans to continue expanding the Small Business navigator program, incorporating user feedback and emerging technologies to provide even more complete support for SMBs.
