Drift Operation Suspect Arrested in Mauritania

A suspect involved in a reckless drift operation on the Mauritanian Television Circuit has been apprehended by the National Police.

According to a police statement, the suspect was arrested after attacking traffic police officers near the Mauritania Canal in Tevragh Zeina.

The suspect, who has been identified as having psychological disorders, is currently undergoing treatment from a neurologist.

Following an attempt to arrest him, the suspect tried to escape but was eventually apprehended in the evening and placed under the protection of the Traffic Commission.

The Public Prosecution has issued an order for the suspect to be placed under a bail bondsman, and his vehicle has been impounded.
