BGIN Blockchain Limited, a digital asset technology company and cryptocurrency mining hardware manufacturer, announced on April 13, 2026, that it has successfully resolved a series of legal disputes involving its U.S. Subsidiary and the recovery of its hardware assets.
The company, which trades on the NASDAQ under the symbol BGIN, confirmed that it has recovered all of its mining machines following a confidential settlement agreement.
Details of the Asset Recovery
The resolution concludes a conflict involving BGIN Infrastructure, LLC, the company’s U.S. Subsidiary, and Mawson Hosting, LLC, which served as the landlord for BGIN’s former hosting service provider, Krypton Technologies, LLC.
Under the terms of the settlement, Mawson has returned approximately 5,325 mining machines to BGIN.
Origin of the Hosting Dispute
The dispute originated from a Hosting Services Agreement dated June 14, 2024, between BGIN and Krypton Technologies. Under this agreement, Krypton was tasked with operating the approximately 5,325 BGIN-owned mining machines.

The situation escalated when Krypton defaulted on its own obligations to its landlord, Mawson. This default led to the seizure of the mining machines by Mawson.
BGIN responded by providing written notice to Krypton to terminate the Hosting Services Agreement and demanded the immediate return of the hardware. However, Krypton was unable to comply with the demand because the machines remained in the possession of Mawson.
Legal Proceedings and Timeline
To recover its assets, BGIN initiated legal action on March 31, 2025, by filing a complaint against Mawson in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The lawsuit sought the return of the mining machines and damages resulting from the actions taken by Mawson.
The litigation expanded on June 2, 2025, when Mawson filed a third-party complaint against Krypton. This filing asserted claims based on a separate agreement existing between Mawson and Krypton.
The legal conflict lasted several months before the parties reached the confidential settlement agreement that facilitated the return of the hardware to BGIN.
Context of the Mawson and Krypton Relationship
Public records indicate that the relationship between Mawson and Krypton began prior to the dispute. On December 13, 2023, Mawson Infrastructure Group Inc. Signed a co-location agreement with Krypton Technologies.
That 2023 agreement provided Krypton with co-location services for 1,764 miners, totaling approximately 6 MW, at Mawson’s facilities located in Midland, Pennsylvania.
The initial term for that specific co-location agreement was 12 months, with provisions for mutual extension and potential capacity expansion.
