Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, a state-owned entity, experienced a important drop in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025. The company’s Q4 profit decline amounted to 51%, settling at Rs 325 crore, compared to Rs 663 crore in the same period last year. Despite this downturn, revenue from operations saw a marginal increase, reaching Rs 3,174 crore, a 2.3% rise from Rs 3,103 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Sequentially, the shipbuilding revenue picture also reflected a decrease. Profit after tax (PAT) decreased by 60% from Rs 807 crore in Q3FY25. Though, revenue from operations showed a slight increase of 1% compared to the previous quarter’s Rs 3,144 crore.
