Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the crash. Damage was sustained to the rear of the BMW, and the third vehicle also required repairs. McMahon was cited for reckless driving and following too closely.
In , a state judge allowed McMahon to enter a pretrial probation program. Successful completion of the program, which concludes next , will result in the charges being erased from his record. As part of the agreement, McMahon was also ordered to make a $1,000 charitable contribution.
