Great Britain’s Erin mcneice secured the gold medal in the Women’s Boulder competition at the 2023 IFSC ⁣World Climbing Championships in Seoul,South korea,on September 26,2023. McNeice and ‌Sanders finished tied for first place ​with 84.6 points. Following the round,‍ McNeice ‍expressed her satisfaction with her performance, stating: “It was a lot of fun. After Lead finals it was hard to get into a good ‌mindset again because I was⁢ so close to the podium, but I was really happy with ⁣how ​I climbed today.“

Addressing the pressure and environmental factors, the British⁢ climber added:​ “I was definitely feeling the pressure coming into this comp ⁢and ​was dealing with ‍the temperature as well. ⁤It was just about staying calm and⁣ focusing on what I needed to do.“
