Medellín Boasts 4,000 Openings: Job Seekers Rejoice!
In Medellín, finding a job has become an increasingly complex challenge for many residents, especially for young people and people with little work experience. Lack of experience, high competitiveness and a shortage of jobs in some sectors limit opportunities for those seeking job stability.
For this reason, the alliance between the Office of the Mayor of Medellín, through the Office of Public Employment, and Comfama, with its employment service, was created to accompany the young people of the Parceros program and the community in general on a path of contact with formal employment .
One of the actions of this alliance is to hold four meetings where interested people can participate and apply for the four thousand vacancies aimed at young people over 18, with or without experience in the city.
In addition to the job offer, participants will be able to access services such as registering and updating resumes, talent mentoring, a learning path to highlight their skills and training to access better job opportunities.
These are the meetings
The first meeting will be held this Thursday, November 7 at the Antiquia Museum.
The second will take place on November 13 and 14 on the terrace of the UVA Huellas de Vida, in San Javier.
The third will be on November 20 and 21 at the UVA Armonía, in Manrique.
The last one, 27 and 28 of this month, will be held in the library of Gabriel García Márquez, on Doce de Octubre.
The meeting schedule is as follows: Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
