People’s Party Chairman Kay Wenze Detained Over Beijing City Scandal

People’s Party Chairman Kay Wenze has been detained by the North Court over the Beijing City scandal. The People’s Party’s Central Emergency Response Team held an extended meeting to discuss the situation, but it was cut short when People’s Party lawmaker Huang Shanshan left after just 20 minutes.

When reporters asked about the content of the meeting and the situation of Ke Wenzhe’s wife, Chen Peiki, Huang Shanshan refused to comment, saying he would not accept interviews from everyone and thanked everyone for their concern.

Ke Wenzhe was involved in the Beijing City scandal, and on the 4th, the High Court rejected the verdict without bail and sent it back to the detention court for the second time. The People’s Party is yet to make an official statement on the matter.

Huang Shanshan’s sudden departure from the meeting has raised questions about the party’s response to the scandal. Despite being surrounded by reporters, Huang Shanshan refused to comment on the situation, saying only that he would not accept interviews.

It is essential to note that everyone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to the law.
