The Patagonian Trail: A Fitting Tribute to Claudio Iturra’s Legacy
The program ‘The Patagonian Trail’ is nearing its end, and its final episode will star Nicolas Iturra, brother of the late Claudio Iturra.
Regarding his participation in the closing of the program, Nicolas said, “For me, it was a privilege, and to have the opportunity to conclude part of the grieving process that we experience as a family.”
The special and long-awaited finale of this season will be broadcast on Saturday, September 14, in the prime block of Canal 13, offering a unique opportunity to say goodbye to the program with a final trip through the impressive landscapes of Patagonia.
Who is Nicolas Iturra?
Nicolas Iturra, Claudio Iturra’s brother, is a geologist by profession, although he specialized in groundwater at university, which is why he considers himself more of a hydrogeologist.
Along with this, the 47-year-old professional revealed the bond he had with his late brother and his deep connection with the environment. “With Claudio as a teenager, we shared and experienced nature intensely, enjoying long walks, the silence when walking through forests, and the desire to convey that it is important for the soul to travel and leave our comfort zones,” he said.
In relation to how he experienced the trip, Claudio Iturra’s older brother revealed his feelings and stated, “I believe I was not wrong, because the trip and everything related to the trip was a very significant experience which remains etched in my soul.”
“I felt my brother more present than ever during those days, with the team full of anecdotes and situations where we felt his presence, and on a more personal level for me, it was a balm that I am grateful for, because during the days before the trip, there was pain. His departure had intensified quite a bit,” he explained.
The last chapter of ‘The Patagonian Trail’ is to be seen this Saturday after T13 Central on Channel 13 screens and all its platforms.
