Meghan Markle’s As Ever product Line: A Dietitian’s Take and Restock News
Updated June 04,2025
Meghan Markle’s “As Ever,” her debut product line featuring teas, fruit spreads, honey, edible flowers, and baking mixes,is set to restock soon after selling out within 45 minutes of its initial April release. The Duchess of Sussex announced the upcoming restock, promising new additions to the collection, via Instagram. With the high demand, many are wondering which items are worth purchasing. A registered dietitian, Sarah Glinski, offers insights into the line’s offerings, focusing on their potential benefits and safety.
Glinski notes that edible flowers, a highlight of the As Ever collection, are currently trending due to their antioxidant, vitamin, and mineral content. While generally safe, Glinski advises caution regarding flowers not specifically grown for consumption, as they may contain harmful pesticides or herbicides. She adds that the small quantities used as sprinkles minimize potential risks.
The as Ever collection features peppermint, hibiscus, and lemon ginger herbal teas. Glinski highlights the unique health benefits of each. peppermint tea can alleviate abdominal pain and IBS symptoms, but may worsen acid reflux for some. Research suggests hibiscus tea can lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Lemon ginger tea has been used for centuries to soothe nausea, indigestion, bloating, and abdominal pain, and may also ease IBS symptoms.
the collection’s honey includes a chunk of honeycomb. Glinski explains that honeycomb contains honey, royal jelly, pollen, propolis, and beeswax. Some research indicates beeswax has antimicrobial properties, while propolis boasts antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits that may aid gastrointestinal health and blood sugar control. Royal jelly may help with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
Glinski cautions that individuals with pollen or bee product allergies should avoid honeycomb. She also advises against giving honey to children under one year old due to the risk of infant botulism.
“This collection seems like a fun way to try new foods… while the products are a bit pricey… the packaging is cute and I think they’d make grate gifts for the foodie in your life.”
